Old Town Kopitiam
Sunday morning, Naz and I thought of having only roti bakar for breakfast as we were going to cook something heavy for lunch. We now have an Old Town Kopitiam in Jalan Yap Kwan Seng which was opened recently. It is only about 5 minutes away from where we're staying so we went there after paying our car loan just across the road. We have been to quite a number of kopitiams before but Old Town, is simply by far the best! Munira ordered Nasi Lemak (I tried a bit but it was just OK-OK jer so I guess it's not one of their strengths). In the end, she didn't finish her rice but instead ate a set of those yummy kaya and butter toast (just imagine kaya and butter oozing out from perfectly toasted breads), so did Muzafar. I had French Toast - 3 slices of bread - with peanut butter in between - served with honey - awesomely delicious! Naz had to order extra kaya and butter toast as the kids finished his. Naz and I ordered white coffee which had such a strong aroma and tasted so good that we ended up buying a box home.
Oh ya, need to mention that the interior of this place is also superb. The toilets have two fans, super clean and extremely comfy. Impressive la! We have all agreed (including the kids) that we are definitely coming again, at least once a month. Certainly worth the RM :)

Sunday Meal - Chicken Rice
Anyway, I wanted to cook but wanted to cook something simple so ended up cooking Chicken Rice. The only difference with all the other chicken rice that I've ever prepared before is that this time, I used the 5 spices to marinate the chicken. Naz loved it so much! But then again, Naz is biased, he loves everything that I cook (because I don't do it that often, hehe)
Munira's First Day Wearing a Tie
This is the first time Munira has ever worn a tie in her life. Doesn't she look all professional and neat? Well, she was recently appointed by the class teacher to be the assistant to the class monitor and from now onwards, she would be required to wear a tie to school. Waaa...we are very proud of our lil angel and we feel very honoured. We hope that this new responsibility will give her a good opportunity to increase her confidence level as well as to help develop her leadership and social skills :).
