Naz's brother has remarried...

Naz's first brother got remarried recently. My mom-in-law (MIL) came down on May 25 and stayed in our Mantin house to start preparing for the wedding. The bride's side had two receptions, June 2 for the Akad Nikah and June 3 for the Kenduri Kahwin in Cheras. My MIL asked me to help out with the hantaran and I happily agreed to be responsible for three. So I baked a moist chocolate cake, made a four layered the trifle and arranged the baju for the Nikah Day. Here they are...I love to do these things :).

As for the groom's side there was a kenduri/sembahyang hajat on June 7 and the reception ceremony was on June 8. So Naz, the kids, Kak Jah and I left to Besut on Monday (June 4) at 8:00 pm (after work, can you imagine). The journey to Besut was about 8 hours drive. The kids slept all the way but I had to try to stay awake to accompany Naz.

In Besut there was so much to do but I had a lot of fun! I was extremely exhausted and worst thing, I had to come to work on that Sunday a few hours after I arrived from Besut but I am glad everything went well. I also realized after that trip to Besut that I love my MIL even more! She is simply the best MIL anyone could have...:).
