Sakae Sushi

I think it was last Friday that Win, J and I went to Sakae Sushi - the one in Bangsar Village II. It's been quite a long time since I last stepped into a Japanese restaurant even though I enjoy Japanese food to quite an extent (just that Naz does not! :p)

One of the most unique points of Sakae Sushi is that they have a computer screen at each and every table and you can place your orders either through the waiter/waitress or via their web-based, patented Interactive Menu (cool!). Best of all, it takes them less than 5 minutes to respond to your orders. Pretty efficient and the prices are reasonable too. Oh, each and every table is also equipped with its own hot water tap for easy refilling of Sakae's green tea and they provide a generous amount of pickled ginger (Win almost finished the ones on our table - apparently the best that she has ever tasted).

The selections of sushi available on the conveyer belt that day were limited but whichever we picked were thankfully delightful. Have to admit that we've got good taste when it comes to food, at least most of the time :). Win ordered a whole load of other things (including some assorted fried stuff that came in a cute red fire engine - yes, look under kis's menu) and who ended up finishing them? J and I of course (with pleasure)! Hehe...

Super Duper Yummy! I think I can survive in Japan longer than Naz...hehe
