Naz and I vowed to start walking again. We have not done so for nearly a year. Of course we would not put the blame on ourselves. We blame it on the weather hehe. Well, it was, raining almost every evening for many months and when it wasn't raining, we just did not have our walking attire with us. Excuses, excuses hehe. No more!
Anyway, since Tasik Perdana is on our way home, it is the most convenient park for us to drop by after work. I love going to Tasik Perdana, so do the kids. The fresh air, the trees, the flowers and the lake are just spectacular.
Yesterday when Naz and I went there for our walk, I noticed some renovation work going on and some have already been completed. I have to say that Tasik Perdana is looking better than ever. However, I did not see the ducks and the swans. I wonder what has happened to them? I hope that they are OK and there are given temporary shelter until the renovation work is fully completed.
As for the walking, it is now our resolution to do it at least twice a week. Oh by the way, my muscles were aching like mad last night and I was just WALKING. Can you imagine if I had jogged. Muahahaha. Hopefully my leg muscles would not ache as much when the walking has become a routine...
It is only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up that we will begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it were the only one we had. - Elizabeth Kubler-Ros
