I am back, again...preparing to turn fabulous forty!

I am proud to say that I am turning 40 in about 2 years from now. Being at this junction, I feel and I know that I have been putting on hold many things which I wanted to accomplish when I was younger and childless. Not that I am complaining, but my life has actually been on a routine for many, many years. I  vow to change that.

Now that the kids are older, I have more free time in my hands. Therefore, I would like to do things which I have thought of doing but never done or tried before. I think it's time for me to start challenging myself mentally and physically. Not only to make sure that my mind stays active but just so that when I am on my death bed, I would be able to say 'Alhamdulliah...I had led a very fulfilling life'.

So, (now that I have a smartphone, thanks to Naz hehe), I would like to not only document my family life in this blog, butI would like to also share the journey of the next phase of my life...turning fabulous forty! Woohoo!

P/s OMG, such a long winded entry!

Modern technology is not always a good thing, I think...

I never have to worry about Naz flirting/being interested in other women cause I really trust him with all my heart hehe. I know (even without him telling so) I am his #1. Sadly, things have changed 😜...I know now that I am no longer ‘the most important thing’ in his life. Who is? His IPhone of course 😂.

I have never been bothered not having topics to talk about to Naz when we are together. I have always been and am still completely happy just being with him and having him by my side. I think he used to feel the same way too until, he got his new sweetheart – THE IPhone. Now, almost every second when he is not talking to me, he will be updating his fb status, replying/checking comments, or surfing the internet. I will be left looking around aimlessly, feeling most of time – neglected 😤. Sigh, I is jelezzz hehe...

I guess Naz is not the only one I know who is infected with the Smartphone Fever. Some of my closest friends are too. When I am with them, they seem to be juggling time communicating with friends they are with (like me) and with friends who are online. I know it is a ton of fun to be constantly updating and updated but would I want to be like them? I was initially tempted but not anymore. Not for now. Cause I know if I do have one, I will be too engrossed with it that I will probably ignore the kids and get easily annoyed with them for not letting me tweet in peace hehe.

Anyway, when the time comes for me to own one of these life wonders, I honestly hope that Naz and I would NOT be sending text messages (whatsapp) to each other when we are actually in the same room or at the same dinner table! 😝

Duck - Can't believe I am blogging about this!

Muhaya turned 3 months last Wednesday! She is now more alert, has stronger neck bone and legs. She giggles a lot too! She especially adores Munira. Whenever she notices Munira walking towards her, she will start smiling instantly :).

All of us went back to Mantin last Saturday and that was Muhaya's first trip back. Have not been back for a while and one of the things that I would normally have to do when we go back is to wash the bathrooms (3 of them!!!). It used to be hard work removing old/stubborn stains but not anymore after I discovered this bathroom cleaner called 'Duck'. It is simply the best! I came across it a couple of years back and since then, I have been totally loyal to this brand. It is truly amazing. It removes the toughest stains and disinfects as well! They come in many colors and the last one I bought recently, came in a pretty pink bottle. It also has a child resistant cap.

I have bought and used many different brands before but they are all major disappointments. This has got to be one of the best cleaning products ever. Not sure whether it has any side effects cause it has to be strong chemically in order to remove all those stains but what the heck, it does one helluva good job!

Seriously, someone has to pay me (or sponsor one year supply of these products) for this free advert muahaha...

Woken up...

Last Sunday, for the very first time, the baby woke me up - with 3 soft kicks, very early in the morning.... I was shocked at first but could not stop smiling after that. Those were actually the first real kicks I've felt since I got pregnant hehe.

This morning I was woken up again but this time, even earlier - 4:00am. Not because of the baby though. It was because I was thinking and worrying so much about work. I tried very hard but just could not get back to sleep. This is bad. It is happening again. The last time this happened was like two years ago when I literally broke down and confronted my boss.

Anyway, in the process of trying to relax my tensed body and mind, I suddenly started thinking about friends from the office whom have left. All the wonderful memories I had with them - Joal and John who are back in the Philippines, Pat, Steph and Sheryl who are in KL but can hardly meet, Joel and Joy in Australia, Charis who is leaving to the U.S. soon and Tse Leng who is London. I miss them so dearly...:(

The Weigh I Was and Am...

Yesterday, my BFF Win, J an I had a craving for Italian food so we decided to dine at La Risata in Medan Damansara for lunch. Everything we ordered tasted great especially my baked eggplant lasagna. Win and J ordered the same thing - macaroni and cheese but it turned out to be very dissapointing - it was more like macaroni in steamed milk - ouuch! I took a bite and couldn't taste the cheese at all, in fact it tasted totally flat! Win added loads of chili powder and J added crushed olives and salt but somehow neither helped so they didn't finish. To make up for the dissatisfaction, they ordered dessert afterwards - J ordered caramel pudding and Win ordered this moist dark chocolate cake with hot chocolate fudge and vanilla ice-cream. Their desserts looked pretty good and according to Win and J, tasted all right. I was darn tempted but I was telling my body and mind that I didn't need the extra sugar. So I didn't take a single bite, am so proud of myself!

Anyway, the following morning, I just couldn't believe it. Once again after about 7 years, I weigh 60 something. Can you imagine, I eat as per usual once a day (and once in a while I do indulge in chocolates and cakes) but thanks to Herbalife, I have been and still loosing weight. Amigos, this is not a promo but just sharing la :). I actually contemplated on whether I should blog about anything related to my weight but hey, I feel on top of the world right now and feel like telling the whole world that Herbalife works!

Hemm...posting my before photos here would be way too embarassing but here are the reasons why I should be loosing more weight and should have a healthier lifestyle. I want to grow old and healthy with them...
