Update - My Life etc

I am officially in my second trimester, Syukur Alhamdulillah. Everything is, so far, so good. Can't wait to start buying baby's clothes. Found Carter's newborn suits at Bangsar Village. 3 in a pack for for RM36/-. Buy 3 packs and get one free. Gonna get them as soon as I know the gender of the baby since the suits are all color coordinated. Blues or pinks. Should I bother letting my boy wear pink or vice versa? Hemmm..I actually do mind ;) hehehe...

Last two Saturdays, took the kids for a picnic at Tekala. Just for a short while since they were very dissapointed for not being able to go for a deep at Sri Palma Villa's pool. It is closed for maintenance. God knows how long it will be closed. The pool's condition was horrible. Yucks!

Last Wednesday, Naz and I watched Hancock and I kinda like it. It was really entertaining. Will Smith is as cool and as handsome as ever and Jason Bateman? Wow, he has aged, but gracefully I would say. Charlize Theron is of course as attractive as ever. Superhero that needed some PR training. Out of the ordinary I would say. Cute.

Just last Saturday, took the kids to the KL library pulak. For a change. Have not taken them for ages.

I decided took cook something special yesterday. Took me about 2 hours to prepare then after eating, I was super exhausted. Couldn't even lift up my arms. Terrible.
Didn't get to snap photos of the Nasi Beriani and Honey Chicken as we were all just too hungry and couldn't wait to start eating hehe.

A movie date...

Naz and I watched The Happening, M. Night Shyamalan's latest movie last night. We can say that we are his loyal fans and have never missed any of his movies. We actually like all his previous movies - they are all awesome and my all time favourite is of course, The Sixth Sense. However The Happening isn't so great. There were very interesting/strong scenes at the beginning, that will make you want to watch the movie right till the end but when the movie finally ended, Naz and I were thinking...aiyo, is that it? Hemmm...

12 weeks

I am exactly 3 months pregnant today. My pants are getting tighter and my baby bump is getting more obvious hehe. I am as excited as ever and counting the days. Went for my first ultrasound last Friday after collecting Munira's report card. Munira went with Naz and I for the check-up and she was the most excited and the most attentive of all. During the conversation I had with the doctor about my pregnancy, the doctor was also interacting with Munira. I guess she wanted to make sure that Munira did not feel left out. That's so so sweet of the doctor :).

At home, Naz and I always include Munira and Muzafar during our conversations about the baby. I really want Munira and Muzafar to know that even though there is another baby coming along, they will still be very special and very important to us...

Here's the ultrasound image...I don't have a scanner at the moment so this is the best that I can do hehe...

New Resolution

Naz and I vowed to start walking again. We have not done so for nearly a year. Of course we would not put the blame on ourselves. We blame it on the weather hehe. Well, it was, raining almost every evening for many months and when it wasn't raining, we just did not have our walking attire with us. Excuses, excuses hehe. No more!

Anyway, since Tasik Perdana is on our way home, it is the most convenient park for us to drop by after work. I love going to Tasik Perdana, so do the kids. The fresh air, the trees, the flowers and the lake are just spectacular.

Yesterday when Naz and I went there for our walk, I noticed some renovation work going on and some have already been completed. I have to say that Tasik Perdana is looking better than ever. However, I did not see the ducks and the swans. I wonder what has happened to them? I hope that they are OK and there are given temporary shelter until the renovation work is fully completed.

As for the walking, it is now our resolution to do it at least twice a week. Oh by the way, my muscles were aching like mad last night and I was just WALKING. Can you imagine if I had jogged. Muahahaha. Hopefully my leg muscles would not ache as much when the walking has become a routine...

Report Card Day

Naz and I took leave last Friday (June 20) to collect Munira's report card. As usual, I had butterflies in my stomach before meeting the class teacher. We waited for a while before we got to sit down to chat with the teacher.

The teacher started with telling how much Munira's average has dropped - from 97% (last semester of Primary 1) to 93%. However, she still managed to maintain her position. First in class and whole of Primary 2. Woohoo...

We took the kids to KLCC Park in the evening and went to Pizza Hut for dinner. We gave Munira a chance to decide on a short get-away in July as her reward and guess where she wants to go this time? Genting Highlands - yes again. Hehehe...Anything for our hardworking gal!

* We are so proud of you darling Munira - Love,Ibu and Ayah...

Then, for lunch, we went to chilli's again (Oh God! should stop asking the kids to decide where to eat it cause they will always end up asking to go to Chilli's. That's it! Ibu's deciding on where to eat from now onwards kids...muahahaha! :)

Here are some shots taken at Chilli's. Noticed Munira's new haircut?

Bla Bla...

Today is Nana's birthday...Happy birthday Nana darling. God, you are 33! Hehe...

Well, I have not been blogging for sooo long. Where shall I start...

The pregnancy - so far so good. Will have my first ultrasound on June 21. No major cravings so far but at this particular moment, really dying for 'Cempedak goreng'. Where the toot to find la. Couldn't even find it in Chow Kit. Am about 2 1/2 months so about 6 1/2 months to go. Oh, found out that my very good friend Eed is also expecting. So I have a preggo buddy! In fact her due date is about the same as mine. Miracle...

Went back to Besut on May 29 to June 2 for Nasir's (Naz's 4th brother)wedding. As usual, it was such a loooong journey. 9 1/2 hours going and 12 hours coming back. I felt sick in the car most of the time but was equipped with a few types of 'asam'. The kids were not bothered at all about the journey as they were very excited to 'balik kampung'.

On our way back to KL, we dropped by at Pasar Payang and Masjid Kristal (wow, I wonder how much they had to spend for this Masjid?). So grand but yet so membazir???

Took two extra days off (June 3 & 4) for extra quality time with the kids but ended up in bed. Was down with flu. Darn!

Wonderful weekend with siblings - had dinner with Naz's brothers and spouses at Melia on Saturday (June 7). On Sunday, my brother and sister and their families came for lunch + dinner. Just to cleberate my dad's birthday on May 31 and my sister's birthday on June 11th.
