Me not a cupcake but love baking them...hehe!

Believe it or not, I baked some cupcakes last two weekends andddd they turned out to be quite pretty hehe (perasan case) but hey, I will upload some photos tomorrow to support my statement. Dah lama dah I wanted to bake cupcakes but just didn't have the time. Dahla kat ofis keje berlambak, kat rumah pulak ada 2 budak comel yang constantly in need of my Vitamin A (attention la tu).

Me cannot wait to bake some more!!!

Jelatang IS OVER! and THANK GOODNESS!

One of the stupidest show I have ever seen on TV. SO glad that it has finally ended. Eyewww...

On another note, there are quite a number of movies that Naz and I are dying to watch. Two of them are Cuci and Dunia Baru. For Cuci, I think gabungan Hans, Awie, Afdlin and AC ni memang menjadi and kelakar la. I had the chance to catch AC Di Sini recently with all the four of them, they were hillarious (of course minus the MADU joke made by Awie)! Buli Balik was also entertaining so we hope Cuci will be even better!

As for Dunia Baru the movie, we have always been watching the show aired on TV3 so we thought that it would be really fun to watch the movie as well. Munira dah dok sibuk memujuk nak ikut but we will have to see about that. Ayah ngan ibu nak dating sekali sekala pun susah keh3.

Oh, moi been too busy with work at the office lately so couldn't spend even a few minutes to blog. Anyway, going to bring the kids to PD this weekend during Hari Wilayah. Soooo looking forward to this short family vacation man. Woohoo, another public holiday after Thaipusam. I just love January and February 2008!

My Naz, future pianist...

Munira's piano arrived on Monday (January 14). Everyone was excited, even my dad. Munira started practising immediately but only for a short while cause Naz couldn't wait to have his hands and fingers on it. When Naz took over, I had to teach him to read the notes and he's picking it up quite quickly. He's actually been spending an hour or so every night on the piano since the first day.

Because of his determination, not only he's getting better at reading the notes, he can now play with both hands. Wow! Major achievement for someone who has never taken music lessons before. Last night, he was already able to play Twinkle2 Little Stars, Jala2 Ikan, London Bridge is Falling Down and a few other simple songs! Can you believe it? It is only his third day...

Abang, keep the spirits up...At the rate you're going, you'll be playing Beethoven and Mozart soon man! Am really proud of you...:)

Anyway, received this from a good friend yesterday...Thought of just sharing with everyone out there...

There once was a woman who woke up one morning,
looked in the mirror, and noticed she had only three hairs on her head.
Well," she said, "I think I'll braid my hair today?"
So she did and she had a wonderful day.

The next day she woke up,
looked in the mirror and saw that she had only two hairs on her head.
"H-M-M," she said,
"I think I'll part my hair down the middle today?"
So she did and she had a grand day.

The next day she woke up,
looked in the mirror and noticed that she had only one hair on her head.
"Well," she said,
"today I'm going to wear my hair in a pony tail."
So she did and she had a fun, fun day.

The next day she woke up,
looked in the mirror and noticed that there wasn't a single hair on her head.
"YEA!" she exclaimed,
"I don't have to fix my hair today!"

Attitude is everything.

Be kinder than necessary,
for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

Live simply,

Love generously,

Care deeply,

Speak kindly.......

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass.
It's about learning to dance in the rain.

Do Re Mi...

Munira has always wanted to learn music. She was deciding between learning piano or violin but in the end, decided to go ahead with piano. After much thought, Naz and I decided that she would start this year. So we went searching for a music school for her last Saturday (January 5) after her ballet class. We were hoping that she could start her lessons next month. We went to a couple of places in Bangsar and when we were at our second stop which was Yamaha Music School, Jalan Telawi, we decided there and then that Munira would go to that one as the class time is perfect and it is just 3 minutes away from her ballet school.

While we were discussing the arrangement for the following month, the administrator asked whether Munira was interested to start immediately. I looked at my watch and it was 5 minutes before 11 (the class time) and the teacher was just standing there as it was her free slot. Munira immediately said yes!

So that was how Munira started her very first piano lesson and we don't even have a piano yet! I must say that I am very excited to see Munira excited about the whole thing, hehe. She was sooo excited that she completed her music homework almost immediately when we got home. We are very happy and glad that we managed to fulfill our promise to Munira to let her start her piano lessons this year...

New Year Celebration...

My sis-in-law got us free tickets to Sunway Lagoon Beach Blast Party. So that was how we spent our new year's eve. Of course we did not party, we just went there to eat (buffet dinner) and to let the kids play in the man made sea for a while. We left Sunway slightly after 10 but my goodness, we reached home only at about 11:55pm because of what else, the traffic jam. The kids were already snoring away in the car as they were extremely exhausted but they had so much fun!

Well, a beautiful way to start a new year knowing that OUR kids are HAPPY kids :).

Yesterday, we had lunch at Ampang Park (Cozy House) with Jam, boy it was good food! As superb as ever. My favourite? Defintely Cozy Chicken Chop with Gravy. It is Muzafar's favourite too.

I got a new year's gift from Naz. A food processor! No more chopping onions and slicing carrots manually! I am so pampered! Thanks Abang...I promise I will cook even more often after this muahaha...
