Once in 4 years...

I am just too tired after one full day with the MQA assesors and officer but I should not miss the opportunity to publish something today as today only comes once in 4 years!

I really can't wait for this week to be over. Really! It is so darn stressful for me and J and the rest at the department. I am also looking forward to this weekend cause we are going to Tekala for a picnic. Yes, again! but this time we are going with Naz's brothers and sis-in-law. Tekala is such a beautiful and clean recreational destination (well at least from our last visit hehe)so if you love nature, you should consider exploring Tekala.

O, I tried making my own pizza last weekend but just haven't found the time to upload the photos. And I really thought that it was really hard to make your own pizza dough/crust. It was actually that simple! And the whole family loved it!

Opps. Have to get back to work. Later.

Motherhood

I have always liked and wanted children. I love everything related to motherhood.

First, it was the pregnancy. I loved every single second being pregnant. Win mentioned a few times that I was always happy when I was pregnant and nothing could make me angry or sad. To think of it, it is so true! I was lucky that I didn't experience any morning sickness during both pregnancies but even if I did, I would not complain. You know what they say, No pain, No Gain! So I believe in that. Furthermore, it is a privilege (Men would never ever agree to this but only if they know what it's like to have a living soul in your body for 9 months. Miracle!) that only women can experience and not all women sad to say.

Then, was the time to shop for newborn's clothings. Waaa...so nice. "They are all sooooo cute and I wish I can buy 'em all" I used to tell Naz. Of course Naz would always play along and told me to take all if I really wanted, aaaaa so sweet my Naz. In reality, of course we do not shop that much for both our newborns as babies tend to outgrow their clothes very, very fast.

Next, was the best time of all. The day of the delivery. I can still remember the day I held Munira or Muzafar in my arms for the very first time. No words can describe that very first few seconds with the baby that was in my womb for almost a year. I couldn't help to admire those tiny little fingers and toes. To gaze into those shining and curious little eyes that were probably wondering, is this my Ibu? It was just a WOW moment.

I love being an Ibu/mom. God I really do. I love my children with and from the bottom of my heart and every cell in my body. They are my joy and laughter (of course shouts and screams too but let's not go there and focus only on the positive hehe). I would not trade motherhood with anything in the world.

If only, if only I can have just one more. That! will be the greatest gift of all. You may think that I am ungrateful as I already have two but two just ain't enough. Three would be PERFECT. Then again, it's all with God's willing. I will accept my destiny with only gratefulness.

What I love being an Ibu/Mom:
1. Being greeted like a celebrity every single day when I come home. With kisses and hugs and daily updates on all their activities...
2. Buying clothes for them. I can go on for months without buying my own clothes but I can spend hours shopping for my children.
3. Cuddling each other underneath a comforter while watching TV on a Sunday morning.
4. Being loved unconditionally and thought of as an Idol (at least for now).
5. Smelling their hair right after shampooing. Brushing Munira's hair and putting it in 1001 styles. Combing Muzafar's hair and making him look cool!
6. Cooking something they like and looking at their satisfied and happy faces when they eat.
7. Bringing them to the park and looking at them knowing that they are healthy and happy.
8. Looking at their Angelic faces when they sleep.
And the list goes on...:)

Now, tell me how can I not adore these children of mine? Hehe

Hujung Minggu yang Penuh Aksi...

Waaa...I was really looking forward to this weekend sebab nak rileks dan lupakan semua kerja yang menunggu kat opis tu. So what did I do yesterday? First thing in the morning, we sent Munira to her ballet class at 9:30am and then shortly after that at 11:00am, her piano class pulak.

Every Saturday while waiting for Munira, Naz and I would usually have our favourite Wantan Chicken Noodles at Berjaya Restaurant, Jalan Telawi. We absolutely love it...Even Muzafar can finish a plate by himself. Here is what it looks like. The Yong Tau Foo is also recommended. Most importantly what makes them different from all the other places we had, is the super tasty soup!

On our way back, Naz sent me off to the Pavilion, Bukit Bintang to meet up with Win, Pat and Crystal. Crystal is once again back from Aussie so we wourld normally meet up for lunch whenever she is back. It was my first time in the Pavilion and I am not exaggerating when I say it's humongous! And from what I could observe, they have ALL the famous brands. Semua yang mahal2 belaka, really! So cuci mata aje la hehe.

We had lunch at this Pasta place, God, I cannot for the life of me, remember the name of the place but it was a good choice. The serving was generous, it was not that pricey and the place was also cozy. Oh, while I was there, I was really craving for J.Co doughnuts but just looking at the que, I was turned off. Wasn't that desperate anymore. You see, I had the privilege of trying one of their doughnuts (Tiramisu I think) last week and it was delicious! So I could understand why all those people were willing to que very long for their doughnuts. Better luck next time I hope.

Ok, so that was my afternoon. Malam pulak, we had dinner at Spring Garden, KLCC with my ibu angkat, Ibu Judy and Win to celebrate CNY and also Ibu Judy's belated birthday. Here's a photo of Munira in her red Cheongsam with her Grandma. Munira adores her Grandma!

Note:- I was later informed that the Pasta Place in the Pavilion which we went to is called Pasta Mania...Thanks Win for the info hehe.

Nak membebel pasal HARI NI...

TERASA nak blog dalam Bahasa Melayu la HARI NI. TERASA penat sangat bekerja HARI NI. TERASA macam nak berenti kerja terus dan melepak jadi suri rumahtangga dan ibu sepenuh masa bermula HARI NI...Tapi apakan daya, kedudukan kewangan tidak mengizinkan buat masa ini...*huk3.

Hemmm...ape yang terjadi hari ni yeak. Eh, sebelum tu, harus saya ucapkan Selamat Harijadi buat teman tersayang, Mr Az. Az, kita dah kawan dekat 16 tahun kan. Wow. Terima kasih la atas segalanya. Hidup ini tentu sekali tak sama jika Az tidak hadir dalam hidup saya hehe. I love you my friend!!!

Balik pasal HARI NI. Pertama sekali, kerja semakin berlambak kat pejabat ni.

Oh, lupa lak nak cerita. Hujung minggu lepas, masa cuti Raya Cina baru-baru ni, adik Naz yang nombor 4 tu kawin ngan orang Kuala Selangor. Meriahnya kus semangat. Al maklum la, anak pertama yang kahwin. Siap dengan Ghazal dan segala. Jemputan lak ada kot sekampung. 3 hari dua malam. Seperti biasa, tuan hamba ini la pengubah hantarannya. Esok la kot baru nak upload gambar2 nya. Penat weiiii.

Februari 1 tu, harijadi Kak Anisah@Kak Co'ot. Happy birthday Kak. Kak Co'ot ni kakak angkat masa kat Sem. Sains Tengku Abdullah. Hehe kelakar bila ingat cerita masa sama2 kat Aspuri dulu kan Kak.

Win and J, lemme know if you need any help hehe!

Short Vacation

Last year, we promised Munira, kalau dia dapat nombor 1 in class, we would take her to Tiara Beach Resort in Port Dickson. So bila dia dah buktikan yang dia boleh, it was our turn to keep to our promise.

We left for PD on Hari Wilayah (Feb 1) at about 12pm. That was after I attended my neighbour's Nikah Ceremony. She was indeed a beautiful bride in white. Not sure whether you know or have seen her on TV but she's a part-time actress.

New selipar for them. Kewl eh? Only RM12 each pair

Well anyway, we arrived at Tiara at about 4pm. The children couldn't and didn't wait very long to jump into the pool. So couldn't we. Naz bought me a swimming suit, no, not a bikini or the ordinary swimming suit. This swimming suit that is specially designed for Muslim Women. It's made of Lycra material but with long pants, skirt (to cover my voluptious behind) hehe, long sleeves and with matching tudung...Cool).

In front of the lobby - Gong Xi Fa Chai!

Checking In

All ready to go!

We stayed in Tiara for three 3 days and two nights. We had Seafood on both nights and they were superb. I couldn't take photographs of the food that we ate on the second day as Muzafar was asleep in my arms. Too exhausted after playing in the pool for so many hours.
