A night at Berjaya Hotel, Times Square...

Never in our lives would we imagine staying in Berjaya Hotel, Times Square. Thanks to Naz's sis-in-law, we had the opportunity, last Saturday (she got it free by the way). Not just any room, it was a suite! It was like a short weekend getaway. Aside from the very cramped space between two super single size beds and the wardrobe which is placed directly opposite the two beds (believe me, it's definitely not more than 50cm. The doors could not even be fully opened) everything else was perfect. Especially the breakfast buffet. They had everything we liked!

Just arrived!...

The kids had a marvellous time at the pool. The pool is located on the 14th floor and is HUGE! One of the biggest hotel pool I have seen so far. The exterior design and the scenery around the pool side are worth mentioning too. There are two fountains, a playground, a mini jacuzzi, a wading pool as well as man made waterfall! While Naz and the kids were in the pool, I had the most relaxing time with Sudoku! The perfect idea of a weekend getaway I would say!
Beautiful pool!
The fountain...

The playground...

That night (Saturday), I missed Akademi Fantasia 6's 6th concert but for a good cause. We celebrated my step mom's birthday at Melia Hotel which was just opposite of Berjaya. Talking about convenience hehe. It was Steamboat and Barbecue Buffet. Was just OK. Nothing to shout about...:)

My step mom. Happy Birthday to you...

I am in Love...

I am in love with Elizabeth Arden's new fragrance!

Naz and I went to watch Over Her Dead Body last night at GSC Midvalley during our monthly date hehe. When we're rushing to go for our Maghrib solat, I could smell something extremely nice. Then a guy approached us and introduced us to Elizabeth Arden's new fragrance called the Mediterranean Breeze. I was mesmerized instantly! The smell is so refreshing! I could so imagine myself covered in that smell, wow, I am absolutely going to get it one day...
Mediterranean Breeze...my new love

Anyway, Over Her Dead Body was boringgg...The story line was quite interesting even though not logical. The way that it was told/directed, hemmm, could have been better. The cast could have been better too. Eva Longoria just failed to capture my attention and interest. Being with Naz however, made it all worthwhile. Just sitting there and enjoying his wonderful company couldn't have been better...:).

Oh, I had lunch with Win today (at La Risata) and we ordered the world's smelliest pizza, again. Yupp, we already had it twice earlier and we are definitely coming back for more. The pizza is made of several types of cheese but the one that made it extremely al-stinko is this cheese called gorgonzola (took me very long to remember the name but I then realize that I have to just have to remember, Gorgon (name of a raksasa in Ultraman!).

Gorgonzola Cheese. Man it looks nasty and it stinks too! but boy it tastes very good on a thin crust pizza!

An evening at Tasik Titiwangsa

Brought the kids to Titiwangsa for a lil' bit of fresh air and sweat last Saturday (April 19) after sooo long. It has been raining almost every single day for God knows how long and the kids have been deprived from their weekly visit to the park. So when the weather looked good that day, we didn't hesitate to seize the opportunity. Even though it still rained later that evening, at least we had an hour or two.

When we reached Tasik Titiwangsa, it was disappointing for us to discover that the condition of Taman Tasik Titiwangsa's playground (main destination of our kids) was as bad as before and sad to say, it has been like that for years. We have not been there for more than 6 months and I was really hoping that something had been done to the playground. Not only it is very dangerous, it is also such an eyesore.

We did notice some major renovation taking place around the lake. Tasik Titiwangsa is going to be even more beautiful than it already is. However, I just wish they had started with the playground where safety of our children is at stake.

Anyway, just to share their latest photos...aren't they adrobale even when they are in their sweat? Hehe...

Munira: Look at my bunny teeth, and oh ya...Peace...
Muzafar: It so nice to hug you Kakak...

Munira: Let's get on with it will ya!
Muzafar: Wait Ayah, I am not ready!!!

Munira: Please excuse me baby brother!
Muzafar: Hey, I am almost as tall as kakak...coool!

Nyum3! Time for ice-cream...

Wait, let me give you the purrrfect pose...

I was there, I was there...!!!

I witnessed something amazing last night. I was there at the Padang Kelab Sultan Sulaiman, Kg Baru from 9pm to 11pm. I saw the 'Rajawali'. He was so charismatic. So full of energy. So high in spirit. I absolutely adore him as a leader. I was glad that I was one of thousands of Malaysians who were there to support him. To support his freedom. Freedom not just for himself, but I believe freedom for all of us. Freedom from all the injustice and corruptions...I hope that he will succeed!

AF6

Hemm. It has been four weeks since Akademi Fantasia 6 started. I haven't once mentioned anything related to it. Why? Because I have not found anything fascinating about any of them yet. However, I am starting to get a bit annoyed with Ogy Ahmad Daud. She's taking all of this critique business wayyyyy too seriously. Even though I see her point - the students are in the academy to learn and she 's there to give her so called valuable feedback for the students to improve from their mistakes but c'mon. It is supposed to be an entertainment program for heaven's sake. She gets too dramatic. Yes, that's the word. Over dramatic. There are better ways to express your thoughts and comments you know.

I feel bad for the students and I am awfully tired listening to her. So next week onwards, I am gonna watch the students but am not planning to listen to any of those darn critiques (crap). Just too depressing la hehe...

Potty Trained Muzafar...

I am very proud to announce that my 3 1/2 year old son is now potty trained. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. We only started last Sunday. There were so many accidents at first but as of yesterday, there was not a single one! Woohoo!

I know some children can be trained even younger but I just felt that now, would be just the right time for Muzafar. 8 months before he starts kindie hehe. We have never taken him out from the house without his diaper so this weekend would be the first! Wow, big step for a lil boy and helluva more work for us. As it is, Munira needs to go the loo like every hour or so and now there are two who will be constantly asking to go to the loo haha. No matter what, I love them to bits!
I want to color too...

Munira's Sports Day and Nana's Wedding...

On Saturday April 5, Munira had her second primary Sports Day. Just like last year she took part in two events. The perbarisan and her class's event. For the class event, her team Rumah Merah beat the other three houses and emerged as the champion again this year. However, during the prize giving, they were announced as second to Rumah Biru. When that happened, almost all of them started crying. Poor girls. I told them that it was just a mistake and the class teacher will sort it out later but they were still so sad. My heart just melted looking at their disappointed faces.

Good view of Kakak marching...kiri...kiri...kiri kanan kiri...

Kakak receiving the medal with a sad face. My poor baby...:(

Anyway, right after that, Naz was supposed to send me to Nana's wedding and take the kids home but unfortunately, the car couldn't start. It was the battery. So I had to call my dad to come to the rescue (to help Naz and to send the kids back) and I took a cab to Nana's weeding.

Wow, Nana's wedding was really something. The deco and everything else. They were simple but nicely done. Very the classy! I missed the exchangings of vows as I was still at Munira's school but I got there just in time to see the newly weds walking into the hall! They looked absolutely beautiful!

The newlyweds - Mr and Mrs Nayagam.

The Gals and I...

Part of the deco. Simply gorgeous...

And more...

The unique multi-colored roses which Nana gave me.

The pure and lovely white eustomas which I took home as well...hehe.

Ya Di Da...

Yes, IT came. I have mixed feelings when IT finally came. I am a bit sad cause it's for sure now that I am not prego (afterall). The same time, I am happy that I now know for sure that I am not. No more uncertainty, at least for now and I can tell myself, hey don't worry, just have to keep on trying. :).

Anyway, last night, the gals and I caught the movie '27 dresses'. It's a cool movie. Romantic and hillarious! I love it. It's the kind of movie that I would be able to watch over and over again like...Sleepless in Seattle, You've got mail, 10 Things I hate about you etc. They are all very simple and romantic. Awwww...
