Yummy Beriani...

Brought the whole family out for lunch yesterday to celebrate my step mom's birthday. Wanted to try something different than western so we decided to try out Al-Rawtsa (Jalan Damai) as per my cousin's recommendation. It was pretty good. Didn't take many photos yesterday but managed to take this which was our main order!

Chicken and Lamb Beriani...Sungguh the sedap!

Munira and Muzafar with the birthday gal hehe

Just to share Muhaya's best photos (so far)...:)

Photo taken on April 23 with my new hairdo, do you like it?

I was exactly 3 months on the day this photo was taken - April 8, 2009. Trying to pose like a big gal here :)

My first trip to the beach - Bukit Kluang, ayah's hometown, March 16.

In the car, on the way to Besut - March 13.

Taken on March 5. I just love to jalan-jalan outside my house in my stroller!

Update on the kiddies...

Munira - just finished her first test for 2009. As usual, her ibu was more nervous than she was. Munira has also started her extra co-curriculum and is now required to stay back in school once a week. She has also recently been selected to represent her school for this Action Song Competition. Before being selected, she had two memorize four pages worth of words - which at my age, would be simply impossible...
Munira during her sports day. Red House is the champion this year. Hip2 hooray!

Muzafar - is still learning his alphabets and numbers. He sings the alphabet song at least 3 times a day. In the room while watching tv, in the bathroom while showering, in the kitchen while checking the fridge and laying down right before snoring, yes my boy snores :). Besides the alphabet song, he also sings many other nursery rhymes. Most of the time, he is entertaining but once in a while, hemmm...a lil painful to bear muahaha. He just had a haircut by the way. Almost as short as his ayah's hair.
Muzafar acting crazy hehe

Muhaya - had her 3rd month's jab last night, ooouuch! As usual, her ayah didn't even dare to look cause he is afraid of needles. Muhaya gave the nurse such a biiigg smile not knowing that a needle was going to go through her cute bumbum. By the way, she didn't even let out the slightest cry, only a Oouch-I've-been-poked expression. Such a brave baby we have hehe.

Tony Roma's Experience

I went to Tony Roma's for the first time last Wednesday. Tessa is back from Ausie and wanted to treat Win and I for lunch. I left Tony Roma's that day with satisfaction and knowing for sure that I'll be back. What I really like about Tony Roma's:

1. They serve this mini french bread that comes with a ball of creamy butter which is mixed with herbs and garlic (definitely not the healthiest thing on earth but definitely one of the most incredible [and sinful] thing I have ever tasted) Warning: If you somehow finish the bread before the butter, you will most likely try not to waste the butter by having it with everything else...e.g. fries, pasta, steak
2. Good service - our food came in less than 15 minutes that day!
3. Almost everything in the menu is served in big plates, big serving - not good for those on a diet but worth your $$ and also enough for sharing and to even tapau back.

Oh, as we were waiting for our order, the patrons next to our table were singing a birthday song to a 'Ms Paradise'. What? What kind of a name is Paradise? Win was saying, Paradise now only needs to find a Mr X 'Lost' so that she can then be called 'Paradise Lost' huhu...Talking about not so ordinary names, I have in my life met a Forest (probably named after the famous Forest Gump), Jungle, Corny and a few more which I can't seem to recall...:)

Anyway, back to Tony Roma's, all you mushroom lovers out there, you have got to try Tony Roma's deep fried battered mushrooms. They are truly amazing. Almost finger licking good. They are not oily but pleasantly moist. Served with this superb honey mustard lemon dip. I am surely going back to TR especially because of the mushrooms! Nyum2.

Duck - Can't believe I am blogging about this!

Muhaya turned 3 months last Wednesday! She is now more alert, has stronger neck bone and legs. She giggles a lot too! She especially adores Munira. Whenever she notices Munira walking towards her, she will start smiling instantly :).

All of us went back to Mantin last Saturday and that was Muhaya's first trip back. Have not been back for a while and one of the things that I would normally have to do when we go back is to wash the bathrooms (3 of them!!!). It used to be hard work removing old/stubborn stains but not anymore after I discovered this bathroom cleaner called 'Duck'. It is simply the best! I came across it a couple of years back and since then, I have been totally loyal to this brand. It is truly amazing. It removes the toughest stains and disinfects as well! They come in many colors and the last one I bought recently, came in a pretty pink bottle. It also has a child resistant cap.

I have bought and used many different brands before but they are all major disappointments. This has got to be one of the best cleaning products ever. Not sure whether it has any side effects cause it has to be strong chemically in order to remove all those stains but what the heck, it does one helluva good job!

Seriously, someone has to pay me (or sponsor one year supply of these products) for this free advert muahaha...
