Indeed a False Alarm :(

Went to the doctors yesterday and the test came back negative. So confirmed that I am not prego. The doc said that my bp was low but didn't say that that was the reason why Auntie Flow isn't here yet. I was telling the doc that I felt dizzy for the past few days and she made me do some tests. I passed the tests so that confirmed that there was nothing wrong with my head/brains. Not sure what to do now. Most likely I will visit the doc again say on Friday next week to check on my bp (am drinking lots of 100 plus as advised by the doc) and if Auntie Flow is still not here then, am going to visit a gyno just to be on the safe side.

Did quite a bit of research on the internet regarding possible reasons of missing Auntie Flow and the findings were quite scary. So am getting myself checked. Actually, deep in my heart I am still hoping a bit that I am prego. Who knows, probably my HCG level wasn't enough to be detected yesterday.

Oh well, even if tak jadi, Naz and I would have to just work harder hehehehe....:)

Nervous nye!!!

I can't keep this to myself any longer. My 'best friend' is 4 days late! Should I see a doctor already or is it too early? I can't stop thinking and being happy about it but what if it is just a false alarm. Probably there is just something not right with me or somethig cause IT normally comes on time or a day earlier. So many things are playing in my head. Every single time I feel something in my stomach, I am afraid that it is IT but so far so good, clear. Urrgghhh....the suspense is driving me up the walls and am trying my best to act calm. Hemmm...will update soon. Please pray for me...I am really ready to be preggie again hehehe...Insya Allah.

Shutter...

Naz and I caught the movie Shutter (the Orang Putih version) last night. I really liked it. It is very nicely done. Similar to the Thai Movie (even with the same title), but not exactly the same. I could guess what was going to happen in most of the scenes as I saw the Thai movie at least twice but overall, still not dissapointing. In fact, it is highly recommended. Two thumbs up :)!

p/s oh we saw the Malay horror movie 'Anak' a few weeks back. Hemmmm what can I say...bole la... Tapi tak terasa 'the thrill' langsung hehehe.

Last weekend...

Went to my nephew and niece's birthday party right after work on Saturday March 22. It was held near Dataran Merdeka (right smack in the middle of the city center) and the traffic was really bad. So many roads were closed due to the FI Race in Sepang. Nevertheless, we were the first to arrive. Anyway, Rashad is now 9 and Aneesa is 6. In case you're wondering, they are my brother's children.

The one in the blue shirt is Rashad and the one in the grey dress is Aneesa. The other two are of course my darling babies :)

Instead of getting a birthday cake, my brother got J.Co Doughnuts!

Then on Sunday, we took the kids to Smart Kids - Malaysia's Largest Kids' Education Fair in PWTC. My Goodness, it was sooo packed. We had to park at the Hentian Putra and then walk to PWTC. The kids had fun at first but after a while, they felt suffocated because of the crowd, especially Muzafar. The entrance was not free for adults. I think we had to pay about RM4/- per person. Many things to look at especially when Muzafar's going to Kindie next year. There are just too many options!

Photos...

I have been too busy to upload these outdated photos.

Here are (to me) the world's best doughnuts (some say that it may be because I have never tasted Krispy Kreme) which I finally bought on February 23 from Midvalley's branch. Surprisingly, the queue was not that bad that day...

Here are the photos of my homemade pizza...

Information on Dr Altaf's Clinic

As requested by Sakinah. Here's the address and contact of Dr Altaf's Clinic.

Klinik Kanak-kanak Dr Altaf
42 Jalan Datuk Sulaiman
Taman Tun Dr Ismail
60000 Kuala Lumpur

Tel: 03-77223812

Dr Altaf is one of the best pediatricians we have met so far. He is very thorough and spends quite a bit of time with each and every patient. His explanations are always super clear and best of all, he is extremely gentle with children. His clinic is even open on Sunday mornings.

Highly recommended!

Been a while...

Can't believe that it is almost the end of March and I have not even published a single entry. I have been too busy with work and life, that's why. I was on leave from Friday March 7 and only came back to work on Friday March 14. Did not go anywhere this time around as I was sick almost the whole time. It started with Munira, a week before the school hols then it was me and now it is Muzafar.

On the election day, my temperature was 39.3 when I went out to vote. I made the right choice of waiting the very last minute as I didn't have to que at all. Such a responsible citizen I am hehe. Am I happy after the election? For me to know and for you to wonder hehehehe...

This virus that has just attacked our family is really something. I am sure I have never experienced the kind of headache I had recently. It was probably worse than a migraine. As for Muzafar, after two sleepless nights of high fever, I thought he was better yesterday as his temperature was normal the whole night but when he got up in the morning, he was feeling really cold. He was shaking like he was just thrown into a pool full of ice and the air-cond was not even on. He was also complaining that all his joints were aching. I helped him to put on a jacket and a blanket and I noticed that his hands and legs had blue black patches on them. I panicked. Then he started vomiting. Gosh. I woke Nazri up and we rushed to Dr Altaf's clinic in Taman Tun. The Doc said that the virus had already gone into his stomach. He said that we should just continue with the antibiotics and the other meds that we got from Pusrawi earlier and he should be fine. He only gave something for the flu and to stop the vomiting. As for the patches, it was because of the unstable temperature of Muzafar's body and his surroundings.

I am at work today but at least I know that he is so much better. He could already play a little last night. I can't wait to finish work today and go home to my babies...
