Second visit to Tiara Beach Resort, PD

Naz, myself and the kids decided to get out of KL and head to PD today. Saw a few road blocks here and there, but our journey leaving KL was not affected at all. We left quite early, just to be safe and made a few stops along the way.

1. We had McDonald's delicious family breakfast.

2. We lepak for a while at Pantai Saujana

3. We had lunch at Pantai Ria Seafood Restaurant

We arrived at the resort at about 2.30pm and checked-in. Yaay!

A short trip to Melaka

Naz and I took last Friday off to bring the kids to Melaka for a short holiday. They had a splendid time, especially when they had ice-cream almost 2-3 times a day (only during vacations that they are allowed to do so). Anyway, let the photos do the talking...

Just arrived. About 1:25pm, Friday, August 22

First activity after lepaking for a few minutes in the room

Then, went for a late lunch at Mahkota Parade. This was taken at Candy Land inside Mahkota Parade's Food Court

On our way to lunch, we saw a new tower by the road side and decided to try it out. We later found out that the tower is called the Menara Taming Sari. Here's the replica of the tower that we will be on in the next few minutes

Waiting excitedly to board the ride

On the ride that goes around in a 360 degree circle at 110 metres above the ground

Peace...

T.G.I.F. and More...

I am absolutely very thrilled that it is almost the end of the week. As a mother, weekends are always eagerly anticipated and important. That's when I get to rebond with my children after leaving them with Kak Jah (their babysitter) from Monday to Friday and have a maximum of only 3 hours a day with them.

When Munira was younger, Naz and I used to decide on how we could spend the weekend but nowadays, Munira gets to decide where to go or what to do. Is it totally fine with us as we mutually agreed that as long as they are happy, we would be happy too :).

Talking about making decisions, during the most recent school break, Munira was the one who had decided to go to Genting Highlands Theme Park. At first we had planned to spend a night there, but because Naz wanted to watch Akademi Fantasia (ok, ok it was actually me 😜), we went only for a day (March 17). Nevertherless, both Munira and Muzafar had a great time. We arrived home at about 8:15pm and everybody was so exhausted especially me and Naz. As parents, of course we needed to make all the preparations (I fried meehoon and made sandwiches and had to start as early as 6am!), but having said all that, the look on the children's faces escpecially when they were on the rides - aduhai, sungguh tidak ternilai harganya.
