Second visit to Tiara Beach Resort, PD

Naz, myself and the kids decided to get out of KL and head to PD today. Saw a few road blocks here and there, but our journey leaving KL was not affected at all. We left quite early, just to be safe and made a few stops along the way.

1. We had McDonald's delicious family breakfast.

2. We lepak for a while at Pantai Saujana

3. We had lunch at Pantai Ria Seafood Restaurant

We arrived at the resort at about 2.30pm and checked-in. Yaay!

Little preview of the room...

Double Choc Chip Muffins - Nigella's Recipe

Surprisingly, the road was extremely clear from Damansara all the way to Kampung Baru yesterday so arrived home a quarter before 6. Decided to do a lil baking. They turned outyummy, well at least according to my fans @ kids lol.

Herbal Eggs...

I've been told that herbal eggs are not really good for you...herbal sounds healthy right? I guess we should not let ourselves be fooled by its name. However, right this minute, do I really care that it is not the healthiest thing on earth when I have been craving for these darn eggs for the last two weeks? The answer is an easy no.

I told a few colleagues a couple of days ago that I have been thinking about herbal eggs and one of them took the extra mile to look for them for me. The things that my friends do for me are just unbelievable. I am so blessed. Thanks Mel! :)

Modern technology is not always a good thing, I think...

I never have to worry about Naz flirting/being interested in other women cause I really trust him with all my heart hehe. I know (even without him telling so) I am his #1. Sadly, things have changed 😜...I know now that I am no longer ‘the most important thing’ in his life. Who is? His IPhone of course 😂.

I have never been bothered not having topics to talk about to Naz when we are together. I have always been and am still completely happy just being with him and having him by my side. I think he used to feel the same way too until, he got his new sweetheart – THE IPhone. Now, almost every second when he is not talking to me, he will be updating his fb status, replying/checking comments, or surfing the internet. I will be left looking around aimlessly, feeling most of time – neglected 😤. Sigh, I is jelezzz hehe...

I guess Naz is not the only one I know who is infected with the Smartphone Fever. Some of my closest friends are too. When I am with them, they seem to be juggling time communicating with friends they are with (like me) and with friends who are online. I know it is a ton of fun to be constantly updating and updated but would I want to be like them? I was initially tempted but not anymore. Not for now. Cause I know if I do have one, I will be too engrossed with it that I will probably ignore the kids and get easily annoyed with them for not letting me tweet in peace hehe.

Anyway, when the time comes for me to own one of these life wonders, I honestly hope that Naz and I would NOT be sending text messages (whatsapp) to each other when we are actually in the same room or at the same dinner table! 😝

Nasi Dagang Best!

Both Naz and I spent the entire weekend with the kids. Didn't bring them anywhere except for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Mostly because Munira was busy doing revisions for her final exam which is starting today! All the best my darling.

On Sunday, Naz took us to Ulek Mayang (Taman Melati) for breakfast. The children had Nasi Lemak which they gave 'two thumbs up'. I didn't want to have any carbo at first but looking at how much Naz was enjoying his plate of Nasi Dagang, I just couldn't resist! I was telling myself, have the Nasi Dagang but try not to finish the whole plate and stop whenever possible. Can you guess? Of course I finished the whole darn plate. Licin selicin-licinnya! God that was one of the best Nasi Dagangs I have ever eaten. Not good for those on Atkins but once in 3 months wouldn't hurt your waistline rite ;)?

Sedapnya...sehingga menjilat sudu!
