Food poisoning?

After the kids' activities last Sunday, we took them out for lunch at this place called Octopus Sushi & Thai at KL Festival City. Nazri had grilled fish (which we think was the culprit). Not that the fish was bad or anything (it wasn't his first time ordering that same fish anyway ), just that Naz's sensitive tummy somehow couldn't handle it on that particular day.

When we arrived home, Fiera, one of my bestest friends was already waiting to pick me up for tea. We were going to Carcosa Seri Negara to celebrate her belated birthday and to experience ourselves, the much publicized tea, fit for a queen. My other best friend, Azman was meeting us there. Overall, we had a great time catching up but would we go there again? Honestly, there was nothing extra ordinary so maybe not. Once in a life time experience is sufficient for me :).

I got home at about 5.30pm and Naz was lying in bed. I was told that he he had been throwing up since 3pm. Wanted to take him to the ER immediately but he still wanted to wait. So in the end, we only went at about 7pm when he couldn't bear any longer. At that time, he was already so weak and so nauseated that he could hardly walk. Took him to Al-Islam Specialist Hospital and he was instantly given medication through a drip. It was so, so hard to look at my man in that condition. Half of my body was weak as I could also feel his agony. The other half of me was forced to function so that I could be there for him. I needed to be strong for him. It hurts so much to see him hurting like that.

Anyway, he was sent home late that night and as I usual, I couldn't really sleep. I was worried, that he would  throw up again, or the air-cond was too cold, or he wanted water or he just needed me.  I took emergency leave yesterday just to make sure that he is all better. Being at home, while my big baby was recovering, I realized that I would love to be a stay-at-home mom one day. I would love to manage my home and my family myself and most important of all, to have all the time to become a better Muslim. Yupp, that's my ultimate goal in life. One day, insya Allah....
